Obituary: Cornelia Huff Cosbar

Cornelia Huff Cosbar, 68, of Longboat Key and formerly of Larchmont, N.Y., died June 13.

Mrs. Cosbar was a graduate of Mamaroneck High School in Mamaroneck, N.Y., and graduated from Centenary College for Women in Hackensack, N.J., She was presented at the Westchester Cotillion in 1961. She was a past member of the Larchmont Yacht Club and a long time member of the Junior League.

She is survived by her husband, George; brothers Stephen, Timothy and Kent; daughters Kelly and Laura; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at St. Mary, Star of the Sea, 4280 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key. Donations can be made to the Christ Child Society of Sarasota, Inc. 7223 Villa D’Este Drive, Sarasota.
