Obituary: Carol Greenblatt

Carol Greenblatt, 68, of Longboat Key, died March 26.

Born April 6, 1941, in New York, she graduated from Queens College in 1961 and earned her master’s degree from Hunter College in 1963. She raised her family in Marietta, Ga., and then in Stamford, Conn. She and her husband, Jay, moved to Longboat Key in 2000. She was a competitive mah-jongg player and skilled cook.

Mrs. Greenblatt is survived by her husband, Jay; sons, Ken and Steve; mother, Lillian Kahn; sister, Hannah Lamberk; and two grandchildren. A funeral was held March 29, in Sarasota.
