John DiMattina
John DiMattina, 100, of Longboat Key, died May 9.
Born Nov. 13, 1908, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the second of 10 children born to Italian immigrant parents. He worked as a stockbroker and moved to Longboat Key in the early 1970s, after his company set up an office in Sarasota.
Mr. DiMattina was an original owner at Beach Harbor Club. He was a member of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Catholic Church.
Mr. DiMattina is survived by his daughter, Faith Quinn, of London, and two grandchildren.
A funeral will take place Thursday, June 4, in Nacrawsburg, Pa.

Blanche Miller
Blanche Miller, 95, of Fairfield, Conn., and Longboat Key, died May 6.
Born in Bridgeport, Conn., Mrs. Miller was an avid bridge player and golfer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Burman, of Westport, Conn., Vivian Hyman, of Woodbridge, Conn., and Betsy Radler, of Fairfield; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Private services were held by immediate family members. Memorial contributions can be made to the Jewish Home for the Elderly, 175 Jefferson St., Fairfield, Conn., 06825.

John Schuler
John Schuler, 82, of Longboat Key, died May 12. Born April 10, 1927, in British Guiana, he was a former resident of St. Louis.
Mr. Schuler is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gerry; daughters Deborah and Pam; and sisters Marie Sharp, Doreen Janco and Monica Schuler.
