N.Y. woman injured in Longboat Key crash

A pedestrian was injured Monday afternoon after being hit by a car. The accident occurred in the 3100 block of Gulf of Mexico Drive.

Susan Serphos, 71, of Mamaroneck, N.Y., was injured.

As of Tuesday morning, she was listed in stable condition in the intensive-care unit of Blake Medical Center, in Bradenton.

No further details were immediately available.
