+ Vision Plan now available on town’s website
The town’s Vision Plan is now available at the town’s website, longboatkey.org. The plan was adopted last April after a subcommittee worked for months on revisions. The 21-page document will be reviewed semiannually.

+ Town looks into changing stoplight timing
The town is looking into the timing of the stoplight at Gulf of Mexico Drive and Longboat Key Club Road after receiving at least two complaints from citizens. According to an email from Town Manager David Bullock, the town has considered adjusting the traffic signal timing with the expectation that it will result in better traffic flow. The town has an adjustment scheduled in the near future, which, according to Bullock’s email, could result in better flow but would be unlikely to cause dramatic improvements.
