+ Palm Avenue lane closure extended
Unexpected problems encountered during the waterline work at the Palm Avenue parking garage has delayed for the fourth time the re-opening of a northbound traffic lane.

The lane at Main Street has been closed since May. It was originally scheduled to re-open June 2, but now it is not expected to re-open until July 12.

Crews have had difficulty placing the waterline, because of the proximity of other utility lines. They’ve also experienced delays trying to tie in to the water main.
