New College of Florida ranked 16th 'Best Buy College' by Forbes

A recent article titled “Top 100 Best Buy Colleges for 2011” by Forbes magazine lists New College of Florida as No. 16.

The collegiate rankings are calculated by using a college’s rank from the magazine’s list of “America’s Top Colleges” and dividing that number by tuition and fees.

In a press release, New College of Florida President Mike Michalson noted New College’s “individualized education” as a critical component of its teaching philosophy and stressed the importance of an affordable education.
