A new 18-unit condominium is planned for 129 Taft Drive on Lido Key, one of the barrier island’s last undeveloped parcels.

Ocean Real Estate LLC principal Patrick DiPinto, whose Park Residences Development LLC owns the 1.13-acre Lido Key property, is heading up the Park Residences of Lido Key project.

According to listing information on Realtor.com, sales of eight residences are currently pending. Three units, ranging from $1,099,000 to $1.45 million, are currently listed, each of which has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Mark Sultana, cofounder of DSDG Architects whose past projects include the Sarasota Yacht Club building that was completed in 2010, is the architect.

Su Byron and Felicia Rothberg collaborated with DiPinto for the cross-platform brand and marketing launch of Park Residences of Lido Key.

“Working with Patrick and his team was refreshing. He’s totally open to new ideas and progressive thinking. We also respected his commitment to fitting the project to the surrounding environment by using low-impact, eco-friendly design that reflects the community’s style and scale,” Byron said in a news release.

The Lido Key parcel last sold for $6.6 million in June 2004.
