Mustangs finish second at Honda Invitational

The Lakewood Ranch High boys golf team shot a combined 595 to finish second at the Honda Classic High School Invitational Sept. 20 and 21.

The Mustangs, who suffered their first loss since 2011, finished six shots behind American Heritage Plantation in the 18-team field.

Ramsey Touchberry shot a combined 141 to finish as the individual runner-up. Luke Miller shot 145 to finish fifth.

Danny Walker (72-79), Ben Parisi (80) and Kelly Sun (78) rounded out the scoring for the Mustangs.
