The Lakewood Ranch High boys and girls soccer teams both fell in their season openers.
The Lady Mustangs fell 1-0 to George Jenkins Oct. 31. Lakewood’s girls team responded with a 4-0 victory over Sarasota in a Class 4A-District 11 match Nov. 3.
Meanwhile, the Mustangs fell to 4-0 to Berkley Prep Nov. 7.
Both teams will return to district action at 7:30 p.m. versus Manatee. The boys team will be home while the girls team will be away.
