Mira Mar Beach home sells for $3 million

A home in Mira Mar Beach tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Christy Ramsey, of Bristol, Ind., sold the home at 99 Beach Road to Holderness Enterprises LLC for $3 million. Built in 1940, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,742 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $94,100 in 1994. It previously sold for $1.8 million in 2011.

SARASOTA: $1.7 million 

The Tower Residences
Henry Chen and Esther Cheng-Yueh Chen, trustees, of Avon Lake, Ohio, sold the Unit 706 condominium at 35 Waterfate Drive to Second Act Revocable Trust and William Zwick, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $1.7 million. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,799 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.1 million in 2003.

PALMER RANCH: $870,000

Palacio
Frederick Griffiths, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 4201 Palacio Drive to Michael Gowan and Patricia Hutson, of Sarasota, for $870,000. Built in 1993, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,708 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $600,000 in 2002.

OSPREY: $497,000 

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club
Richard and Barbara Bok sold their home at 209 Keel Way to Dennis and Donna Amendola, of E. Haven, Conn., for $497,000. Built in 1977, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 3,093 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,000 in 1999.

NOKOMIS: $565,000

Calusa Lakes
Debra Karasick, of Nokomis, sold her home at 2003 Calusa Lakes Blvd. to Donald and Michelle Brammeier, of Nokomis, for $565,000. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,782 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $464,900 in 2014.

David and Susan Dodge, trustees, of La Grange, Ill., sold the Unit 306 condominium at 755 S. Palm Ave. to William Prince, of Sarasota, for $560,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,421 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $375,000 in 2004.

Ronald Wallace, trustee, of Apollo Beach, sold the Unit 515 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Philip and Sandra Zemmel, of Sarasota, for $523,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $258,000 in 1999.

Phoenix Properties of West Florida LLC sold the home at 2340 Hillview St. to Michael and Alison Miller, of Sarasota, for $520,000. Built in 1953, it has three bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths, a pool and 1,547 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $174,300 in 2015.

Beverly Bailey and Kevin McCarty, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 708 condominium at 1771 Ringling Blvd. to Frederick Griffiths, trustee, of Sarasota, for $515,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,442 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $410,500 in 2007.

William Ratterman, of Sarasota, sold his home at 5365 Winchester Drive to Ben Tucker and Phyllis Johnston, of Sarasota, for $387,000. Built in 1953, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,804 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $299,300 in 2008.

William and Theresa Raczkowski, trustees, sold the home at 7331 Biltmore Drive to Circus City Property Development LLC for $335,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,826 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $178,000 in 1999.

Phillippi Gardens
Sarasota Area Real Estate Group LLC sold the home at 2431 Britannia Road to Fawn Saba, of Sarasota, for $318,000. Built in 1962, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,940 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in April.

Gulf Gate
Norman and Janice Segal, trustees, of St. Paul, Minn., sold the home at 2518 Gulf Gate Drive to Frederick Wert, of Sarasota, for $314,800. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,762 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $335,000 in 2006.

Chester and Margaret Hollinger, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3130 Lockwood Terrace to Albert Gagne and Kerri and Justin Deatherage, of Sarasota, for $257,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,676 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $51,300 in 1998.

Marcia Cohn, trustee, of New York City, sold the home at 3167 Oleta Place to Christie Holliday, of Sarasota, for $255,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,240 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $129,900 in 2000.

Rosemary Bethea, of Sarasota, sold her home at 6837 Roxbury Drive to Richard Smith Jr. and Brittany Blackman, of Sarasota, for $250,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,018 square feet of living area.

Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. sold the home at 3371 Kenmore Drive to Albert and Lucille Cote, of Sarasota, for $240,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,364 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $285,000 in 2007.

Peter Rodenrys, of Sarasota, sold his Unit V-283 condominium at 2210 Riverbluff Parkway to Elizabeth Fallon and James Wood, of Sarasota, for $260,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,312 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $100,000 in 1996.

Roselawn
Norma Hansen, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 2054 Roselawn St. to Curtis Ware, of Sarasota, for $255,000. The first property was built in 1953, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,396 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1953, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,005 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $100,000 in 2011.

Helen Ann Zovath, of Jacksonville, sold the home at 2140 Sunnyside Lane to Blake Doyle, of Prince Edward Island, Canada, for $230,000. Built in 1953, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,285 square feet of living area.

David and Eileen Silber, of Bethesda, Md., sold their home at 3001 Goldenrod St. to Adam Chicione, of Sarasota, for $216,500. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,872 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $190,000 in 2012.

U.S. Bank National Association, trustee, sold the home at 3427 Fair Oaks Place to Javier and Liz Suarez, of Sarasota, for $209,000. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,966 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $94,100 in 1994.

Seminole Park
Donald Colladay, of Sarasota, sold his home at 616 46th St. to Bloom Bidness Properties LLC for $200,000. Built in 1955, it has two bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths and 1,090 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $152,000 in 2001.

Jody Goodwin and Julie Eller, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 43323 Higel Ave. to David and Mary Peirce, of Sarasota, for $2.5 million. Built in 1951, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,920 square feet of living area.

Mira Mar Beach
J. Edward Ramsey, trustee, of Bristol, Ind., sold the home at 95 Columbus Blvd. to Holderness Enterprises LLC for $2 million. Built in 1940, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,560 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $759,000 in 2008. 

Siesta’s Bayside
Rex and Brooke Burgher, of University Park, sold their home at 714 Siesta Key Circle to Albert and Annette Urick, of Sarasota, for $1,785,000. Built in 1971, it has four bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 3,772 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.1 million in 2009.

Bayou Louise 28
Anthony and Jennifer Garrabrant, of Sarasota, sold their home at 120 Faubel St. to Robert and Julie Gerlach, of Cincinnati, for $1,162,500. Built in 1973, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,500 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1 million in 2005.

Crescent 
PMP Ventures LLC sold the Unit D305 condominium at 6512 Midnight Pass Road to Stuart Wolpoff and Lee Rosner, of Potomac, Md., for $950,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,665 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $750,000 in 2006.

Siesta Isles
Mark and Sally Jean Hale, of Knoxville, Tenn., sold their home at 5576 Contento Drive to Joseph Philip, of Winnetka, Ill., for $900,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 1,921 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $722,500 in 2004.

Elizabeth Fallon, trustee, and James Wood of Sarasota, sold the home at 1238 Sea Plume Way to Erik and Marina Dierks, of Sarasota, for $790,000. Built in 1977, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 1,919 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $127,000 in 1979.

Ocean Beach
Siesta Key Holdings LLC sold the home at 4576 Higel Ave. to William and Therese McGarry, of Long Grove, Ill., for $595,000. Built in 1964, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,904 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $302,000 in 2014.

Island Reef
Geraldine Devlin, of New Buffalo, Mich., sold the Unit 405-H condominium at 8779 Midnight Pass Road to Dana and Maria Carlisle, of Louisville, Ky., for $450,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,303 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $435,000 in 2014.

Edmund and Dlorah Hayden, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 303-G condominium at 8773 Midnight Pass Road to Mark and Lisa Buchanan, of Warrenton, Va., for $415,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,303 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $330,000 in 2003.
