Masked men attack Ranch man

Manatee County Sheriff's Office detectives are searching for a suspect involved in a strong-arm robbery that resulted in an injury Tuesday in Lakewood Ranch.

According to sheriff's office reports, two white males wearing ski-type masks chased, caught, choked and hit with an unknown object a Lakewood Ranch man. The suspects removed $142 from the victim's wallet, released him and fled in an unknown direction. The victim had minor injuries including sore ribs.
