Manatee County government offices to close for holiday

Some parks and preserves will remain open July 4.

Manatee County government offices will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

All trash, recycling and yard waste collections for the week will be postponed one day from Tuesday through Saturday for residents in unincorporated Manatee.

Manatee County parks, beaches and natural preserves will be open to the public. 

Manatee County-owned golf courses will be open and Blackstone Skate Park will also be open.

G.T. Bray Recreation Center and G.T. Bray Skate Park will be closed. Manatee County’s public libraries will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 and will reopen Wednesday, July 5. Downtown Central library, the only branch open on Mondays, also will be closed July 3.
