The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has charged a 27-year-old man who allegedly posed as a 17-year-old to have sex with a Sarasota teen, according to a news release.

Pinellas County deputies arrested Andrew Brandt Thursday, Sept. 26, and will soon transfer him to Sarasota County Jail for performing sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl that he met on Tagged.com. Brandt told the girl his name was Mike Berns, and that he was 17 years old, according to the release.

Brandt is charged with three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and three counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a victim over 12 and under 16.

Pinellas County and Sarasota County authorities believe there are other victims, and anyone with information should contact Criminal Investigations at 861-4900.
