MAN ON THE STREET: April Fools' Day

April Fools’ Day is the one day out of the year when practical jokesters are given a free pass to try and catch their family, friends and colleagues off guard. The East County Observer caught up with some local residents to find out the best or worst practical joke someone has played on them or they’ve played on someone else.

What’s the best/worst April Fools’ joke you’ve either played on someone or had someone play on you?

“I know my sons played one on their dad where they put cream cheese in his deodorant and froze it. I have four kids and I think once I told my husband I was pregnant or hinted around that I was late.”

“My wife called me and told me she was pregnant when she really wasn’t.”

“I told someone I was pregnant and I wasn’t. It’s the easiest one because it gets the guys every time.”
