Man stabbed in road rage incident

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is investigating a road rage incident that resulted in a stabbing on the 4700 block of Bee Ridge Road Sunday, Sept. 22.

Deputies responed to the scene near Evie's Golf Center at roughly 10:30 p.m., and determined that an unnamed man was stabbed and struck by a fleeing vehicle after a physical altercation with a male suspect and a female accomplice. Emergency personnel transported the victim to Blake Medical Center by helicopter.

The Sheriff's Office is seeking a white man with a slim build who appeared to be in his 30s, and a white woman with blonde hair. The suspects' vehicle was described as red compact car, according to a flash report.
