Man arrested for triple murder

Sarasota deputies have arrested Thomas Moak, 58, of 4142 Tonga Drive, for the shooting death of his parents and sister Feb. 10 at his home.

At 11:20 p.m. Friday a relative of Moak reported that he had called and said he had killed his mother, father and sister and was about to kill himself. When Deputies arrived they were able to talk Moak into coming outside. He was immediately taken into custody.

Deputies searched the home and discovered the victims. They have been identifies as Isabelle Moak, 82, Thomas Moak Sr., 80, and Renee O’Connor, 62.
