Major League Soccer visits Lakewood Ranch

Several Major League Soccer teams gathered at the Polo Grill in Lakewood Ranch on Monday afternoon for a meet and greet event for an upcoming preseason tournament at IMG Academy in Bradenton.

Several representatives from MLS clubs, including the Philadelphia Union, New York Red Bulls, Oklahoma city Energy and Toronto FC, met and spoke with fans before taking part in an autograph session.

The first preseason game is at noon Wednesday between the Columbus Crew and TP Mazembe (from the Democratic Republic of the Congo).

Games will run through Feb. 28.
