Maintenance facility on track, despite delay

Contractors for Lakewood Ranch Town Hall's new maintenance facility are a few days behind schedule, but the delays are not expected to impact the operation department's move-in date.

Operations Director Ryan Heise said contractor Magnum Construction is about two days behind its construction timeline, with no more "fluff" in its schedule to regain lost time.

Heise said the lag in construction — even if it increases — is not expected to impact the operations department's move-in date, at this time. 

The department has the option to extend its lease at its current office on Lorraine Road, if needed.

"We don't predict we will need to," Heise said.
