Longboat Pass Bridge closes tonight

The Florida Department of Transportation will close Longboat Pass Bridge tonight from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Longboat Pass Bridge is closing 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. the nights of Tuesday, July 14 and Wednesday, July 15 for bridge maintenance work.

The Florida Department of Transportation will close Longboat Pass Bridge 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. tonight for bridge maintenance work. The bridge was also closed for repairs last night.

Motorists will only be able to rely on New Pass Bridge to get on and off Longboat Key again tonight during those hours.

Motorists are advised to use caution, plan for extra travel time and to expect delays.
