The Longboat Library will switch to its summer hours of 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, beginning Saturday, May 1. The library is closed on Sundays.
Summer hours will run through Oct. 31. Located at 555 Bay Isles Road, the library is staffed entirely by volunteers and is supported solely by membership fees and donations of cash and books.
