Saturday, Sept. 3 - Sunday, Sept. 4

70th Annual Labor Day Regatta

Takes place from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Sunday, Sept. 4 at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron,  1717 Ken Thompson Parkway. The 70th Annual Labor Day Regatta will include five race courses, live music, a barbecue, refreshments and an awards ceremony. Registration is available online. Marketing to Millennials

Takes place Thursday, Aug. 25 at Cedars Café, 645 Cedars Court. This is the first seminar in a five-series summer seminar program called “Let’s Get Social” put on by the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce. This seminar will teach businesses how to connect with millennials through marketing and social media. For reservations call 383-2466. The next seminar is Sept. 13. Each seminar is $25, or $100 for all five.
