Longboat Key Gulfside home sells for $3.5 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between April 15 and April 19.

A home in Longboat Key Gulfside tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Gerard and Christine Byrne, of Kilkenny, Ireland, sold their home at 6021 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Randall Welch and Cynthia Hett-Welch, of Beaver Creek, Ohio, for $3.5 million. Built in 1990, it has four bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 3,107 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $5 million in 2006.

Conrad Beach
Albert and Theresa Provenzano, of Denver, and Peter Provenzano, of Rockford, Ill., sold their home at 300 Firehouse Lane to Martin and Deanna Allen, of Longboat Key, for $1.1 million. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 3,407 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2011.

Fairway Bay
Eugene Day, Mark Day and Ethel Day, trustees, of Excelsior, Minn., sold the Unit 545 condominium at 2110 Harbourside Drive to Stuart and Joan Ross, of Providence, R.I., for $782,500. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,632 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 1994.

G. Thomas and Jane Luscombe, trustees, of Frankfort, Ill., sold the Unit 642 condominium at 2120 Harbourside Drive to Gerald and Margot Robinson, of Longboat Key, for $700,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,039 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $744,000 in 2004.

Aquarius Club
James Dempsey, trustee, of Pulaski, Wis., sold the Unit P-F condominium at 1701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kildonan Holdings Inc. for $760,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,615 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $699,000 in 2009.

Harbour Oaks II
Harvey and Jean Greller, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2369 Harbour Oaks Drive to Jorge Reynardus and Patricia Buttenheim, of New York, for $575,000. Built in 1986, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,424 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $408,000 in 2012.

Beachplace
Steven Goldstein, trustee, sold the Unit 302 condominium at 1115 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jack Bernstein, Stephen Sisokin and Elvira D’Orazio, trustees, of Ontario, Canada, for $539,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $100,500 in 1979.

Sleepy Lagoon Park
Thomas and Michelle Brennan, of Fleming Island, sold their home at 561 De Narvaez Drive to Jose Rodrigues, of South Orange, N.J., for $495,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,426 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $755,000 in 2005.

Seaplace
Edie Rae, of Clarence Center, N.Y., sold the Unit T1-104B condominium at 2067 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Gregg and Jackie Lassen, of Beaumont, Texas, for $388,500. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,690 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $183,000 in 1988.

Banyan Bay Club
Larry and Peggy Nolan, of Newnan, Ga., sold their Unit 301 condominium at 5265 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jeffrey Ballew and Michael Thompson, of Celebration, for $337,500. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,155 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $207,000 in 1999.

Longboat Harbour
Alvin and Barbara Balaban, trustees, sold the Unit 101 condominium at 4410 Exeter Drive to Michael and Marilyn Perez, of Tampa, for $305,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,168 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $285,000 in 2011.

Federal National Mortgage Association sold the Unit 207 condominium at 4420 Exeter Drive to Gary and Gwen Wallin, of Longboat Key, for $240,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 992 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,000 in 2001.

Longboat Arms
William Soderberg, of S. Bend, Ind., sold his Unit 303D condominium at 3330 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Carol McCarthy, of Fontana, Wis., for $269,500. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,106 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $279,900 in 2003.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Frank and Theresa Cannella, of W. Milford, N.J., sold their Unit 87 condominium at 828 Spanish Drive S. to Richard and Debra Mika, of Plainfield, Ill., for $255,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,069 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $267,000 in 2004.

John Ringling Estates
Daniel and Deborah Marr, of Sarasota, sold their home at 439 S. Blvd. of the Presidents to Joan Lazzaro, trustee, of Mendon, Vt., for $2,557,500. Built in 1995, it has four bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath, a pool and 3,539 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3 million in 2005.

Beach Residences
U.S. Bank, trustee, sold the Unit 502 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Eric and Leah Payne, of Carmel, Ind., for $1.67 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,964 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.5 million in 2005.

Lido
JPMorgan Chase Bank sold the home at 1144 Morningside Place to Carrie Cox, of Sarasota, for $572,300. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,594 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $669,400 in 2012.

The Ambassador on Lido Beach
Richard Starfield, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 507 condominium at 800 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Lakhbir and Jasbir Hayre, of Sarasota, for $395,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,150 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $138,000 in 1994.

BIRD KEY
Dawna Bailey, of Osprey, sold the home at 483 Partridge Circle to Doris Hurwitz, trustee, of Sarasota, for $750,000. Built in 1970, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,209 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $775,000 in 2008.
