Longboat Key Estates home sells for $3.45 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Sept. 29 and Oct. 3.

A home in Longboat Key Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. William and Carol McKnight sold their home at 640 Rountree Drive to Barbara DePaul, trustee, of Sarasota, for $3.45 million. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,480 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.3 million in 2013.

Country Club Shores
E.H. and Linda Hoelker, of Sarasota, sold their home at 524 Outrigger Lane to William and Mary Stein, of New Orleans, for $1,693,800. Built in 2004, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 4,664 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,919,700 in 2004.

Sleepy Lagoon
Richard and Gail Cox, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 6413 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Christopher and June Northfield, of Ontario, Canada, for $1.2 million. Built in 1951, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,386 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $600,000 in 2009.

Grand Bay
Gerald and Barbara Schaberg, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 344 condominium at 3030 Grand Bay Blvd. to Nelson Salabarria and Joyce Hanscom, of Miami, for $885,000. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,369 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $585,000 in 1998.

The Promenade
Frank and Michele Mandell sold their Unit 706 condominium at 1211 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Murray Goldberg, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $850,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,598 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $800,000 in 2010.

The Beaches of Longboat Key
Alvin and Gayle Preiser, of Charleston, W.Va., sold their Unit 605 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to John and Rita Kennedy, of Longboat Key, for $750,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,602 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $435,000 in 2000.

Beachplace
John Burns, trustee, and Pauline Burns, of Glenview, Ill., sold the Unit 504 condominium at 1045 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Marek Kaczor, of Mahwah, N.J., for $730,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000 in 1981.

Aquarius Club
Jean Green, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 4-H condominium at 1701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to 2432780 Ontario Inc. for $490,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,551 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $195,000 in 1983.

Monica Wolfson, of Merrick, N.Y., sold her Unit 2-D condominium at 1701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to 2432780 Ontario Inc. for $463,500. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,551 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2013.

Seaplace
Theodore and Sally Kall, trustees, of Sarasota, sold their Unit G1-109B condominium at 2089 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Richard Kelertas and Julie Belzil, of Quebec, Canada, for $479,900. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,492 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $240,000 in 1996.

Islander Club of Longboat
Marjorie Kraft, of Brookline, Mass., sold her Unit 42N condominium at 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Andre Skalina and Daniela Skalina, trustees, of Portland, Maine, for $470,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,235 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,000 in 1988.

Lido Key
John Ringling Estates

Jeffrey Kints, of Ontario, Canada, sold his home at 89 N. Washington Drive to Robert Proctor, of Sarasota, for $1.6 million. Built in 2013, it has three bedrooms, four baths, two half-baths, a pool and 2,994 square feet of living area.

Lido Subdivision C
David Peirick, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1216 Westway Drive to Scott and Christine Key, of Concord, Mass., for $650,000. Built in 1958, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 1,624 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $159,700 in 1985.

Lido Regency
Charles and Mary Garrett, of Hermitage, Pa., sold their Unit 2-E condominium at 1700 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Rick Morad, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, for $428,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,382 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $90,000 in 1980.

St. Armands Key
St. Armands Towers North

Kathleen Stillman, trustee, of Tavares, sold the Unit 34 condominium at 1 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Joseph and Karine Gill, of Sarasota, for $497,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,389 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $42,000 in 1971.
