NOV. 11
SMALL CAR SQUEEZE

12:18 p.m. – 3600 block of Fair Oaks Plaza
Suspicious Vehicle: A security guard flagged down an officer to say a Mini Cooper driver squeezed in to the property through the security gate without authorization. An alert had already been issued for the car after an incident a week earlier, the guard reported. The alert was lifted by a male complainant when contacted by police.

PIPE PROBLEMS
10 a.m. – 500 block of Schooner Lane
Public Service: Police reported a water line break to the Longboat Key Public Works Department, which said it would fix it. The leak caused no issues with traffic, and there was no immediate danger.

MYSTERY BOAT
12:36 a.m. – 4800 block of GMD
Owner Call: A property manager reported a small rowboat was tied to a dock. The registered owner said he had sold the boat and had a bill of sale. He used to tie the boat to the same dock and said he would contact the owner so he could ID himself to the front office.

ERRANT DRIVE
9:53 a.m. – 2300 block of GMD
Property Damage: A woman driving a red 2015 Buick northbound on Gulf of Mexico Drive said her windshield was damaged by a golf ball. The golfer with the bad hook told her he would pay for the damage.

MISTAKEN IDENTITY

8:06 a.m. – 700 block of Emerald Harbor Drive
Suspicious Vehicle: A caller reported a driver of a suspicious vehicle. The homeowner told police it was his regular pool guy.

ZIPPER SLIPPER
12:30 p.m. – 5400 block of GMD
Lost Property: A woman reported the zipper on her bike bag slipped open and a $600 iPhone, $20 and small bag fell out.
