Local restaurants win Golden Spoon awards

Florida Trend magazine recently honored 10 Sarasota restaurants, three Longboat Key restaurants and one Holmes Beach restaurant with its Golden Spoon Awards.

In Sarasota, Carmel Café, Fleming’s and Roy’s were named Best Brands. Derek’s, Libby’s Café + Bar, Mozaic and Selva Grill received Golden Spoon awards. Louie’s Modern and the Shore Diner received Best New awards. Michael’s on East earned the Hall of Fame award.

On Longboat Key, Euphemia Haye was honored with the Hall of Fame award. Maison Blanche and Pattigeorge’s received Golden Spoon awards. Beach Bistro, on Holmes Beach, received the Hall of Fame award.

The Golden Spoon Awards are listed in the magazine’s December issue, on newsstands now.
