Library books Election Day sale

It’s time to close the books on another local election.

And the final chapter of this year’s races included the last day of the Longboat Library’s annual book sale.
The library held a book sale during early voting; the last day of the sale was on Election Day.

If you missed this year’s sale, you can still check out the private, nonprofit located at 555 Bay Isles Road, next to Longboat Key Town Hall.

Winter hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, through April 30. Call 383-2011.
