LBK Fire Rescue releases second quarter stats

Longboat Key Fire Rescue released its emergency medical services survey responses for the second quarter of the year, which spans from April 1 through June 30.

The department transported a total of 122 patients during the period, of which 41, or 33.6% returned surveys. The average age of patients during the period was 74.2.

The department got high marks from patients, with 34, or 83%, rating their overall quality of care as “outstanding” and seven, or 17%, rating it “excellent.”
