Lakewood Ranch man dies Sunday

A Lakewood Ranch man was found dead Sunday, after he apparently jumped over the side of the Skyway Bridge.

A Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report states at 3:25 p.m. June 17, 20-year-old Thomas Malone III parked his gray four-door vehicle in the southbound lanes over the center span of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and jumped over the side.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unite recovered a body found floating facedown in the center channel about 15 minutes later, the report states.
