Lakewood Ranch grad completes U.S. Naval Academy

Alec A. Bacon, a Lakewood Ranch High School graduate, successfully received his Bachelor of Science in systems engineering and a minor in Spanish from the U.S. Naval Academy May 22.

Alec A. Bacon, a Lakewood Ranch High School graduate, successfully received his Bachelor of Science in systems engineering and a minor in Spanish from the U.S. Naval Academy May 22. At the academy, he was a member of the Midshipman Action Group, LOG magazine and a Brigade public affairs officer.

Bacon received a commission as a U.S. Navy ensign and will train as a pilot in Pensacola.
