Lakewood Ranch's Troop 303 is seeking a missing trailer and equipment that had been stolen July 6 from the parking lot of Living Lord Lutheran Church, where it was stored.

Head of fund-raising efforts for the troop Bill Godfrey reports that the trailer primarily was used for storage and contained books, tents, camping gear, a large stainless steel grill and a troop flag.

“We’re unsure of (when it was stolen),” Godfrey said. “We just know we went to go get something out of it on Friday for an outing we had coming up — tents and coolers for our trip to Rainbow River — and the trailer was gone. (It went missing sometime over) the last week.”

The missing trailer is dark green, and is about 10 feet long and five feet wide.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office at 747-3011. Troop 303 can be contacted at [email protected].

“We’d just like to get our trailer back,” Godfrey said. “Everything in there the kids worked hard for.”
