Lakewood to hold softball camp

The Lakewood Ranch High softball team will hold its 2013 Softball Camp from 9 a.m. to Noon July 9-11.

Cost is $40 per day or $100 for all three days and includes a camp T-shirt.

Participants will receive instruction in all areas of the game, including pitching, catching, fielding, throwing mechanics, hitting and more.

Featured instructors include: Florida International University pitching coach Mandy Sherman, former University of South Florida assistant softball coach Stacey Heintz, Former Florida State track and field strength and conditioning coach Tyler Peacock and current college and Lakewood Ranch High players.
