Lakeridge Falls death under investigation

Authorities are investigating the death of a man in Lakeridge Falls.

A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report states an individual was found today deceased in the backyard of his residence in the 4300 block of Kariba Lake Terrace from an apparent gunshot wound. The incident is still under investigation, but there are strong leads indicating suicide is a possible cause of death.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
