This week we went in the kitchen at Square One Burgers & Bar with owner and chef Joanie Corneil as she prepares their signature Drunken Pig and Bull burger.

Square One is a full service restaurant and bar that specializes in a variety of burgers. The menu not only features traditional beef burgers, but also buffalo, chicken, lamb, turkey and pork. Square One also prepares a vegan portobello mushroom burger.

The multiple dining rooms and patio at Square One are decorated in a "cowgirl chic" style including cowhide upholstries, stainless steel accents and red chandeliers that are a favorite of diners.

Drunken Pig and Bull Burger

Ingredients:
6 ounces Angus beef
3 ounces BBQ pulled pork
Burger seasoning
3 fried onion rings
1 ounce BBQ sauce
Pepper jack cheese
Burger bun

Preparation:
Form beef into a loose ball and gently press into a patty. Sprinkle burger seasoning over patty. Cook burger on hot grill to desired temperature. Heat pork on grill. Top burger patty with pork while still on grill. Add cheese over the pork and cook for less than a minute until the cheese starts melting. Remove burger topped with pork and cheese and place on a bun. Stack onion rings over pork. Drizzle with more BBQ sauce. Finally, top with the bun. Serve with fries or another favorite side dish. Enjoy!
