People of all faiths are invited to attend the 34th annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, which will be held at 5 p.m. Nov. 25. This year’s service will take place at St. Armands Key Lutheran Church, 40 N. Adams Drive.

Rabbi Jonathan Katz, of Temple Beth Israel, will deliver this year’s sermon.

The annual service is a Longboat Key tradition and rotates between places of worship and preaching clergymen.

This year’s offering will support two local charities, Southeastern Guide Dogs and Fair Food Standards Council, an organization that defends laborers’ rights in Florida tomato fields. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item to donate to All Faiths Food Bank.

The service features an interfaith choir with congregants from each place of worship on Longboat and St. Armands keys.
