Key Club says goodbye to Songster

Longboat Key Club and Resort employees said goodbye to Public Relations Manager Katherine Songster, who will move to New York, at a party Thursday, July 22, at Longboat Key Club Moorings Marina. Songster has worked for the Key Club for two-and-a-half years.

“Over the years I have worked with a lot of publicity professionals. Typically I am an aggressive, passionate individual about things that are important to me,” said Key Club General Manager Michael Welly. “When I would become too aggressive the publicity person would settle me down. In Katherine’s case, she matched if not surpassed my passion and I found myself holding her back, which was a new experience. It is this passion that makes Katherine special and which made it such a treat for me to work with her.”
