Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori has accepted a wild-card invitation to play in the 2010 Sarasota Open, which will take place from May 8-15, at the Longboat Key Club and Resort’s Tennis Gardens facility.

Nishikori, 20, is currently the youngest tennis player ranked in the top 100. Nishikori began playing tennis at 5 and moved to Florida to train at the Nick Bollettieri/IMG Academy in Bradenton. He is the first Japanese man to win an ATP title in 16 years.
