Gov. Rick Scott recently reappointed Longboat Key resident Elaine Keating to New College of Florida’s board of trustees.

Keating is the former president of E. Mason Inc., a Midwest financial services firm. She is president of the Keating Foundation, which continues to support a variety of local arts, social services and educational initiatives.

Keating’s new term will run through Jan. 6, 2016.
