Jeweler donates to Girls Incorporated

Carats Fine Jewelry and Watches recently awarded Girls Incorporated of Sarasota County a $1,737 grant to provide scholarships for families in need of financial assistance for after-school and summer-camp programs.

Greg Twarowski, owner of Carats, first began supporting Girls Incorporated two years ago, when he pledged to donate 5% of his business’ May profits. Twarowski says that as a local business owner, he feels a responsibility to support local nonprofits.
