Jamrocks moves out of Whitney Beach Plaza

The Jamaican restaurant will move to Bradenton Beach after eight-and-a-half months at Whitney Beach.

Jamrocks Jamaican Grill will re-open Friday, May 8, in its new location at 1701 Gulf Drive N., Bradenton Beach, after closing Saturday, May 2.

Bradenton residents David Simms and Rodney and Sandra Williams opened Jamrocks in September 2008 at 6836 Gulf of Mexico Drive in Whitney Beach Plaza. The restaurant will feature an updated menu at its new location. For information, call 778-2400.

Andrew Hlywa, owner of Whitney Beach Plaza, said he does not currently have a replacement tenant.
