Longboat Key resident and photographer Mary Lou Johnson’s work was displayed in the collection of Professional Photographers of America’s 2011 International Photographic Competition. The exhibition is one of the world’s largest annual exhibits of professional photography. Two of her photos in the collection were taken on Longboat Key: “Mystic Morning” and “Can You See Me Now?”
