An award-winning group of local student actors is bringing their short films just a click away from their community.
Inspired Minds filmmaking group, designed for children in grades three through 11, teaches children how to act in and produce films with positive messages that address a social issue important to today's students.
The annual summer camp results in a 10-minute short film students later submit to film competitions. Now, those films are available for download.
Parents, you can visit inspiredmindsfilms.com/buy-movies/ to purchase and download your child's debut behind the camera.
In previous years, parents and students only saw the films a few times, at film festivals and during the editing process, before and after completion.
Now parents can have keepsakes of their child's early acting career.
"These are films made by kids for kids," said Heather Manley, co-founder of Inspired Minds. "But I think adults will love them as well. All of these award-winning films were created through a collaboration between teens and adult filmmakers. I'm so proud of the films these talented young filmmakers created and wanted to share them with you."
