Independence Day preparations in full swing

Crews are busy preparing the bayfront for the Independence Day festivities.

Workers were placing orange temporary fencing along U.S. 41 today.

The annual bayfront fireworks show is scheduled to begin around 9 p.m., July 4.

U.S. 41 from Gulfstream Avenue to Orange Avenue will be closed from 7-10 p.m.
