IDA sets search strategy

Lakewood Ranch Town Hall Executive Director Eva Rey today gave her letter of resignation to the Inter-District Authority Board.

Rey, who celebrates her four-year anniversary with the IDA this month, will serve her last official day in her post Oct. 8, but will be splitting her time between her new job with The Viera Co. and the IDA starting Sept. 28.

At a workshop today, IDA supervisors agreed to have Rey take the lead on launching the recruitment process for her replacement and to hire a professional human resources company to work with her hand-in-hand so it can take over the hiring process after Rey leaves.
