I-75 construction to close University Parkway Tuesday

Lanes of University Parkway will shut down Tuesday, May 10 as construction of the diverging diamond on Interstate 75 progresses.

Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., construction crews will close eastbound University Parkway lanes to move a crane. Flaggers will be directing traffic, according to a press release from Florida Department of Transportation.

University Parkway turn lanes onto I-75 will also close periodically overnight. Drivers traveling east on University trying to enter northbound I-75 should make a U-turn at Market Street. Those traveling west to get onto southbound I-75 should make a U-turn at Honore Avenue.
