Home-Tech shows off new showroom

Representatives of Home-Tech, a provider of customer service, repairs and installations of air-conditioning and major appliances, welcomed the public to its new East County showroom during a special open house event May 17, at the facility, 5205 Lena Road.

Home-Tech, an employee-owned company, has been in business since 1981. The company is an industry-leader in the fields of air conditioning service and installation, major appliance sales and service and home-service agreements.

“We’ve been wanting to open a show room in this area for quite some time,” President and CEO Steve Marino said. “We have thousands of customers in this area and we finally can show them the Home-Tech experience.”

Visitors to the showroom can test out appliances so they have a better understanding of how a piece of equipment will feel and sound in their own home, Marino said.

The new showroom is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
