Home in Siesta Cove sells for $1,975,000

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Sept. 8 and Sept. 12.

A home in Siesta Cove tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Gary Thorne and Alexandria Wilson, of Bath, Maine, sold their home at 5334 Siesta Cove Drive to James Faliszek and Susan Felber, of Hinsdale, Ill., for $1,975,000. Built in 1976, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,298 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $775,000 in 1994.

SARASOTA
Hudson Crossing
Patrick Neal, trustee, of Bradenton, sold the Unit PH-C condominium at 888 S. Orange Ave. to Lorinn Williams, of Cincinnati, for $1,675,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,511 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,375,000 in 2012.

Bay View Acres
Cynthia Postiy sold her home at 1720 Anchorage St. to Charles and Michelle Romine, of Sarasota, for $699,500. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,218 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $520,000 in 2001.

1350 Main Residential
Nancy Lackey and Danny Lackey, trustees, of Asheboro, N.C., sold the Unit 600 condominium at 1350 Main St. to David Halsband and Victoria Halsband, of Edgewater, N.J., for $699,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,338 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $577,000 in 2007.

Marquee En Ville
Lars Lind and Anneli Lind-Kennbert sold their Unit 114-C condominium at 235 Cocoanut Ave. to Peggy March, trustee, of Sarasota, for $615,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 2,290 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2010.

Kentwood Estates
Carol Jantzen and Jennie Lesniak, trustees, sold the home at 1567 Eastbrook Drive to Steven and Bonnie Brown, of Sarasota, for $535,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,738 square feet of living area.

McClellan Park
Fannie Mae sold the home at 1757 Oval Drive S. to Michael and Julie Naughton, of Westport, Conn., for $531,000. Built in 1930, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,276 square feet of living area.

Sapphire Shores
Glenn and Carol Warr, of Sarasota, sold their home at 415 S. Shore Drive to Nancy Kiedinger, of Sarasota, for $530,000. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,056 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 2001.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 602 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Harry and Elaine Tobler, of Sarasota, for $530,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 1,832 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $760,000 in 2007.

Mandarin Park
Priscilla Stowe, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1359 Tea Rose Place to David and Joyce Kay, of Mystic, Conn., for $463,000. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,543 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $395,000 in 2013.

Pelican Cove
S. Chandler Sweetser Jr. and Susan Jewett, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 133A condominium at 1629 Pelican Cove Road to Marsha Fadale and Gabriel Sorgi, of Buffalo, N.Y., for $399,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,835 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $172,000 in 1997.

William Eaton, trustee, of Lake Villa, Ill., sold the Unit 362 condominium at 1701 Pelican Cove Road to Richard and Sharon Clouse, of Glasgow, Ky., for $200,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,370 square feet of living area.

Plat of Sarasota
Full Throttle Properties LLC sold two properties at 1680 and 1684 Oak St. to Michael Donato, of Sarasota, for $350,000. Both properties were built in 1956, each has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $775,000 in 2006.

Poinsettia Park
William and Karen Cogger sold their home at 1937 Goldenrod St. to Kenneth Detweiler, of Sarasota, for $335,000. Built in 1925, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 888 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $240,000 in 2009.

Broadway Promenade
Gregg and Christine Haarer, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1311 condominium at 1064 N. Tamiami Trail to Dennis and Mary Miller, of Sarasota, for $330,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, one bath and 1,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $435,700 in 2007.

Floyd and Cameron
Ardinger Investments of Texas LP sold two properties at 1831 Prospect St. to Coachman Homes Inc. for $277,500. The first, built in 1928, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,084 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1988, has one bedroom, one bath and 350 square feet of living area.

River Forest
Kleppinger Homes Inc. sold the home at 5215 Palos Verdes Drive to William Temple, trustee, and Elizabeth Temple, of Sarasota, for $225,000. Built in 1959, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,172 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $140,000 in 2003.

Bay Haven
Alexander Boudreau and James Tuggle III, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1132 Guilford Lane to Ringling College of Art and Design Inc. for $203,000. Built in 1956, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,509 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $84,000 in 2002.

Phillippi Gardens
CB Florida RRE Holdings LLC sold the home at 2544 Orsova Way to Sapan and Victoria Bodawala, of Sarasota, for $203,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,545 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $62,500 in 1999.

Royal Palm Harbor
Thomas and Sally Reed, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1219 Southport Drive to Balazs Szabo, of Sarasota, for $800,000. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,203 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $439,900 in 1996.

Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club
Siesta Key Properties and Investments LLC sold the Unit 109 condominium at 5924 Midnight Pass Road to Richard and Debra Morris, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, for $625,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,240 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2003.

Gulf and Bay Club
George and Zahava Schillinger, of New York City, sold their Unit 606 condominium at 5770 Midnight Pass Road to 1951 J&C Blvd. LLC for $615,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,337 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,000 in 1983.

Margarita Chapman, trustee, sold the Unit 1303-D condominium at 1303 Siesta Bayside Drive to Sandra Osborn, trustee, of Littleton, Colo., for $305,000. Built in 1988, it has one bedroom, one bath and 959 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $164,000 in 1997.

Howard Brubaker, trustee, of St. Clair Shores, Mich., sold the Unit C-212 condominium at 1127 Lake House Circle to Charles Collins and Peggy Howrigan, of Chestnut Hill, Mass., for $418,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $112,000 in 1984.

Horizons West
Stephanie Church, Special Magistrate, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 111 condominium at 6140 Midnight Pass Road to Bruce and Patricia Krueger, of Lemont, Ill., for $350,000. Built in 1967, it has one bedroom, one bath and 848 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $170,000 in 1993.

Peppertree Bay
Lee Pelea, of Bradenton, sold her Unit 402D condominium at 1125 W. Peppertree Drive to Mark Pelea, of Bradenton, for $250,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,163 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $58,000 in 1974.
