Home in Harbor Acres sells for $1.7 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Sept. 16 and Sept. 20.

A home in Harbor Acres tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Bryan Hodges, of Minnetonka, Minn., sold the home at 1382 Harbor Drive to James Travers, trustee, of Sarasota, for $1.7 million. Built in 1949, it has four bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 4,093 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.03 million in 1999.

SARASOTA
Hudson Bayou

Angus and Jacqueline Rogers and Eugene Rogers, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1736 Bay St. to Penelope Hill, of Sarasota, for $1.2 million. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,570 square feet of living area.

Condominium on the Bay
Nancy Galvin, trustee, of Lima, Ohio, sold the Unit 1101 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Horace Norrell Jr. and Elizabeth Hinkelman, of Sarasota, for $995,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,315 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $650,000 in 2008.

Boris Stanley, of Auburndale, sold his Unit 805 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Andre Clavel, of Sarasota, for $675,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,729 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $203,000 in 1983.

Cherokee Park
Maurice and Susan Kosko, of Atlanta, sold their home at 1774 Cherokee Drive to Robert and Emily Stroud, of Bradenton, for $875,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,347 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $532,000 in 2001.

Poinsettia Park
Scott Greer and Candace Jensen, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1850 Oleander St. to Lawrence and Georgina Clamage, of Sarasota, for $790,000. Built in 2000, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,447 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $655,000 in 2009.

Desota Park
Kim Sorensen, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1840 Datura St. to John and Elaine Kidd, of Sarasota, for $780,000. Built in 1999, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,861 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 1998.

Rajasekhar and Chippy Nalluri, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1954 Datura St. to Duncan and Patricia Miller, of Sarasota, for $715,000. Built in 1946, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,723 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,375,000 in 2006.

Plaza at Five Points
Robert and Mirang Kraner, of Osprey, sold their Unit 11B condominium at 50 Central Ave. to Parviz Daneshjoo, trustee, of Sarasota, for $770,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,671 square feet of living area.

Harbor Acres
Uwe Kneile and Sarah Yamada sold their home at 1804 S. Orange Ave. to Gene and Donna Ciemny, of Sarasota, for $590,000. Built in 1952, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,289 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $412,500 in 2010.

Huntington Pointe

Thomas and Stella Ekovich, of Sarasota, sold their home at 8993 Huntington Pointe Drive to Igor Leonidov and Tatyana Semenova, of Brooklyn, N.Y., for $360,000. Built in 1992, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,682 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2001.

Forest Lakes Country Club Estates
Nina Saunders, of Sarasota, sold her home at 2102 Tanglewood Drive to Robert W. Klinger, Robert H. Klinger and David Clark, of Sarasota, for $320,000. Built in 1985, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,334 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $176,000 in 1990.

Marcella Phillips, of Erie, N.Y., sold her Unit 410 condominium at 5780 Midnight Pass Road to Judith Sauertieg, trustee, of Sarasota, for $537,500. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,361 square feet of living area.

Harbor Towers Yacht and Racquet Club
Robert and Diane Delia, of Bristol, Pa., sold their Unit 302 condominium at 5855 Midnight Pass Road to Brian and Deborah Mullen, of Amesbury, Mass., for $310,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,165 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $121,500 in 2000.

Sandy Cove
Nancy Chamberlain, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 113 condominium at 113 Pass Key Road to Nell Gross, trustee, of Sarasota, for $225,000. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 656 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $295,000 in 2004.

PALMER RANCH
Villa D’Este

Timothy and Meredith Hogenkamp, of Sarasota, sold their home at 7261 Villa D’Este Drive to Zelda Schadt, trustee, of Sarasota, for $485,000. Built in 1987, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,046 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $460,000 in 2005.

Federal National Mortgage Association sold the home at 4555 Las Brisas Lane to Russell Beckwith, of Sarasota, for $202,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,208 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 2000.

Turtle Rock
Sloan Walters, of Sarasota, sold the home at 5261 Far Oak Circle to George Lavigne Jr. and Jeannette Ruggiano, of Sarasota, for $400,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,241 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 2003.

Isles of Sarasota
Anne Thomas sold her home at 5977 Roseto Place to Dieter and Angela Hofmann, of Sarasota, for $389,000. Built in 2008, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $299,900 in 2012.

The Country Club of Sarasota
Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. sold the home at 3907 Torrey Pines Blvd. to Mission Property Partners LLC for $285,600. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,129 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2006.

Stoneybrook at Palmer Ranch
Myron and Phyllis Regenstreich, of Boca Raton, sold their home at 4216 Balmoral Way to Jerry and Janet Clarke, of Sarasota, for $285,000. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 1,823 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $279,000 in 2003.

Palisades at Palmer Ranch
David Lindner, trustee, of Nobleville, Ind., sold the Unit 21 condominium at 7124 Rue De Palisades to David Cope and Carol Cope, trustees, of Fairfax, Va., for $279,000. Built in 1999, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,789 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 2008.

Arielle on Palmer Ranch
Ryan and Karen Tichy sold their Unit 1204 condominium at 7112 Prosperity Circle to John Price and Linda Price, trustees, of Lexington, Ky., for $225,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,863 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2007.

OSPREY
Sorrento Shores

Jack and Cathy Mann, of Osprey, sold their home at 392 Cezanne Drive to James and Tessa Whiteledge, of Osprey, for $1,153,300. Built in 1985, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 4,613 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $495,500 in 1998.

Bay Oaks Estates
Andrew and Lena Viscuso sold their home at 586 Oak Bay Drive to Frank Cosimo and Leslie Jehle for $325,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,084 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $269,900 in 2004.

NOKOMIS
Sorrento South

Bruce and Karia Sprague, of Zephyrhills, sold their home at 423 Bellini Circle to Mildred Fetske and Shirley Falls, of Nokomis, for $385,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,570 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $310,000 in 2010.

Sorrento East
Federal National Mortgage Association sold the home at 309 Rubens Drive to Rino and Santa Allocca, of Nokomis, for $255,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,341 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $218,000 in 2001.
