Home in Cherokee Park sells for $4.5 million

A home in Cherokee Park tops all transactions in this week’s real estate.

A home in Cherokee Park tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Jeffrey and Susan Jones, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1500 South Drive to James and Misdee Miller, of Lakewood Ranch, for $4.5 million. Built in 1964, it has four bedrooms, six baths, a pool and 8,734 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $6.6 million in 2007.  

 

SARASOTA

San Remo Estates

Audrey and David Campbell, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 3631 San Remo Terrace to Christopher and Reyna Quinn, of Aurora, Ohio, for $1.6 million. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, two and a half baths, a pool and 2,746 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $367,800 in 1993.  

 

Poinsettia Park

MSP 1924 Bougainvillea LLC sold two properties at 1924 Bougainvillea St. to Jeff and Toni Cusumano, of Sarasota, for $1.25 million. The first, built in 2014, has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,185 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1948, has one bath and 704 square feet of living area. 

 

Kanaya

Richard and Judith Diedrich, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 903 condominium at 505 S. Orange Ave. to Robert Dove and Laurel Dove, trustees, of Sarasota, for $1.2 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths and 3,003 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $975,000 in 2007.

Peppertree Bay

Salvatore and Sharon Santoro sold their Unit 307 condominium at 1200 E. Peppertree Lane to William and Amy Rohm, of Brecksville, Ohio, for $427,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $365,000 in 2003.  

 

Seashell

Midnight Tango LLC sold the Unit 102 condominium at 6500 Midnight Pass Road to Brian Sullivan and Dennis Kern, of Longboat Key, for $378,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,086 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1 million in 2014.  

 

PALMER RANCH

The Hamptons

EHB of Tampa Bay Inc. sold the home at 5140 Highbury Circle to Ronald and Deborah Chapman, of Sarasota, for $300,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,889 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 2014.  

 

Sunrise Golf Club Estates

Alexis Alexander and Gordan Mihajlovic, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5712 Firestone Court to Donald Ruwe, of Sarasota, for $270,500. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,673 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $185,000 in 2011.

 

Charles Burbol and Laura Morris sold their home at 5753 Augusta Circle to Donald Bruneman, of Elgin, Ill., for $229,500. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,517 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $72,500 in 1983.

Sorrento Shores

William Miller, of Indialantic, and Linda Pope, of Venice, sold their home at 351 Renoir Drive to Robert and Mary Klinger, of Sarasota, for $495,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,971 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $224,000 in 1993.

 

NOKOMIS

Casey Key

William and Sara Bush, of Salem, S.C., sold their home at 1624 Casey Key Road to Jamie Fraser, of Nokomis, for $1,520,000. Built in 1989, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 2,353 square feet of living area.

Dorothy Gibson, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1254 Sea Plume Way to London Bay Construction Inc. for $1,025,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,852 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 1989. 

 

Osprey 

$623,500

D. Bruce and Miriam Vittert, of Sarasota, sold their home at 864 Mac Ewen Drive to George and Patricia Luber, of Osprey, for $623,500. Built in 1990, it has four bedrooms, three and a half baths, a pool and 3,445 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 1996.

 

Palmer Ranch

$335,000

Marysville Investment Co. Inc. sold the home at 3737 Castellon Court to Jean-Paul and Lucia Goergen, of Longboat Key, for $335,000. Built in 1997, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,072 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $189,900 in 1998.
