High five moments of the week

1 - Former Riverview High and Sarasota Sharks swimmer Taylor Katz was one of 14 University of Florida women’s swimmers to qualify for the NCAA Championships March 20 to March 22.

2 - The Sarasota Christian girls basketball team finished third in Class 2A in the FABC/Source Hoops Girls Basketball state rankings.

3 - The Cardinal Mooney boys lacrosse team posted double-digit wins over St. Stephen’s and The Out-of-Door Academy March 12 and March 15, respectively.

4 - The Out-of-Door Academy girls tennis team won three singles matches and both doubles matches to beat Indian Rocks Christian 5-2 March 13.

5 - Josh Bonynge hit a home run and a triple to lead the Cardinal Mooney baseball team to a 4-1 victory over St. Pete Catholic March 12.
